Tom has been in the mortgage lending industry for over 15 years at First Farmers & Merchants Bank in Le Sueur. Prior to mortgage lending, he was a General station and sales manager in the highly competitive market of radio communications. He is a native resident of Le Sueur and an alum of Mankato State University and he has spent much of his time outside of work, actively participating in the community. Tom retired from the Le Sueur Fire Department with over 28 years of service, and more than a decade as the Le Sueur Fire Chief. He sits on the Minnesota State Fire Chief's Association on the Finance committee. He has also served on many other organization boards as the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chairperson of the Le Sueur-Henderson School Board, President of Le Sueur Rotary, President of the Le Sueur County Chief’s Association, Treasurer of Pioneer Power Regional Fire Association, Chair of the Le Sueur Area Retail Trade Committee and the President of Le Sueur-Henderson Basketball Association.
