To download the First Farmers & Merchants Mobile App for your Android device, click on the location's charter in which you bank below and it will direct you to the Google Play Store to download the correct mobile banking app. 

To download the First Farmers & Merchants Mobile App for iPhone, click on the location's charter in which you bank and it will direct you to the correct mobile banking app in the Apple App Store®.

Deposit a check in your account right from your phone!  No more trips to the branch to make deposits.

To deposit a check with mobile deposit, follow the instructions below:
  1. Log in to the First Farmers & Merchants mobile app on your smartphone.
  2. Click on "Deposit" to go to the mobile deposit page.
  3. Click on "Deposit a check".
  4. Select the account that you wish to deposit the funds into.
  5. Enter the check amount.
  6. Endorse the check with your signature and write "For mobile deposit only" under the signature.
  7. Click on the "Take Photos" button. Take a picture of the front and back of the check. Make sure the entire check is in the picture and the image is clear with no shadows.
  8. Click "Make deposit" to complete the deposit.

Can’t find your card?  You can turn off access to your card to prevent unauthorized transactions while you search for your card. Go to the Lost or Stolen Card page for more information.

To manage your cards, log in to the First Farmers & Merchants mobile app on your smartphone and click on "Cards".
With Mobile Banking, you can also set up controls and alerts for card transactions.
  • Controls: Set card controls to reduce the risk of unauthorized transactions. Controls can be set based on location, merchant type, transaction type, and spend limits.
  • Alerts: Receive notifications when your card is used. Transaction alerts can be set for all transactions or selected transaction types. 

Alerts can let you know the moment something important happens in your account. Get notified instantly via email, text message*, or push notifications to your smartphone with our Mobile Banking app.

  • Account alerts based on account balance, transaction, or transfer activity
  • Security alerts based on Online Banking activity
  • Card alerts based on transaction activity
  • Scheduled alerts for regular updates on account balances and recent transactions
To add an alert, click on the "Manage Alerts" quick link from the Mobile Banking app home screen.

To enroll for Text Banking:

  1. Login to Online Banking
  2. Select 'Profile' at the top right of screen
  3. Under Mobile Banking, click on 'Manage Devices'
  4. Select 'Add New Device'
  5. Enter in the information that is appropriate for your device type and your device's phone number
To use Text Banking, use the commands below to view your account information:

  1. Text BAL to 96924 to view your account balance 
  2. Text HIST and the account nickname to 96924 to receive transaction history
  3. Text ATM or BRANCH to 96924 for branch locations or bank owned ATM’s
  4. Text HELP to 96924 for help 
  5. Text STOP to 96924 to stop the service
