Job Summary

The Shared Services Division of First Farmers & Merchants Bank and Liberty National Bank is looking to hire a full-time Systems Administrator. This position will be responsible for installation and support of corporate network systems, servers, applications, and data connectivity. This individual must be able to work closely with leadership and colleagues in the department, communicate effectively, and have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot. A Systems Administrator plays a vital role in making sure our systems are operating efficiently and reliably. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow up and resolve outstanding items, and strong technical knowledge.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of servers and network infrastructure
  • Works with system virtualization software using VMWare
  • Install, Configure, and Support for Windows Servers
  • Assists with Microsoft Exchange system maintenance
  • Performs Server and System backup and recovery duties
  • Responsible for select Disaster Recovery procedures and tests
  • Supports third party application servers including Fiserv Banking software
  • Creates, enhances, and follow processes to drive efficiency in completing work
  • Contributes to the FFM Shared Services Change Management team
  • Other duties as required

  • Critical thinker with strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization

Qualifications

  • Systems Administration: Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Technology field preferred
  • The ability to prioritize, multi-task and effectively manage multiple tasks is essential

Supervisory Responsibility

This position may have supervisory responsibilities of other IT Team Members.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand or sit for long periods of time. Able to lift 25 pounds and work on a computer the majority of the day.
