Brett is the bank President for First Farmers & Merchants bank in Red Wing and also specializes in Commercial lending. Brett has been in the banking industry for over 30 years since he graduated from the U of M’s Carlson School of Management. He has been a banker in Rochester, Hibbing, Bemidji and now for almost 20 years in Red Wing. He has served at various times on the boards of Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet, United Way of Red Wing, Red Wing Youth Hockey Association, CARE Clinic, Red Wing YMCA and now he serves on board of the Red Wing Public School Foundation and on the City of Red Wing’s Harbor Commission. Brett was also the 2015 Eagle Award Recipient for Short Companies. His passions outside of banking are his family, skiing, boating, fishing and upland bird hunting.
