    Are e-Alerts Secure?

If an e-Alert contains sensitive information, your account balance for example, then you will be prompted to establish a password when you set up the e-Alert event. The e-Alert will be sent in an encrypted email. Note: Text messaging is not compatible with secure messaging. If you opt to have an e-Alert sent as a text message the message will only have general information regarding the event and you will be able to log in to your on-line account for more detailed information.
